How It Should Have Ended

Do you ever walk out of a movie saying why did they do it that way? That’s what the people behind How it Should Have Ended or “HISHE” do every month. The creative team behind HISHE takes a look at the latest block-buster movies and puts together fun and for the most part family friendly takes on how things should have gone had a bit of outside the box thinking been applied to a situation. What should have happened when Princes Elsa was born with the natural ability to shoot ice out of her hands. What else send her to learn with Dr. Xavier and the X-Men. With Godzilla on the way to your city, if you had to tell your wife anything what would you say. “GET OUT OF THE CITY AND DON”T LEAVE OUR SON WITH SOME FRIEND FROM WORK” Yeah that sounds about right. That’s what these folks do.

Possibly the most beloved take on films found on HISHE has got to be the groups’ take on beloved comic book characters. With comic book films dominating the summer box office and now leaking into the winter and fall the creators have latched on to the popularity and put their own spin on it. A very popular reoccurring theme is Batman and Superman at a diner where they jibe each other about the numerous movies they have been featured in or debate about who might win a real throw down between the two of them.  So popular have those segments, which typically follow spoofs of super hero films, been that there are large playlists of just essentially the end credit shorts on their own. If you are wondering why people tune in to the shorts religiously, just as Batman.

The humor is not just reserved for the latest popcorn flicks, they also take aim at popular films from generations ago with mashups like How Back To the Future Should Have Ended/Terminator. The shorts are essentially fan service on steroids. If you want to sit down and get up three hours later saying “how did I lose so much time” check out the HISHE channel on YouTube. And bring your sense of humor.
