Sling Television, the Internet based TV bundle has been aggressively establishing itself as the destination for cord cutters looking for cable channels without contracts or bloated packages, announced the addition of Bloomberg TV to its Best of Live TV. The Best of Live TV package is the base package for Sling TV which costs $20.00. Bloomberg had previously been part of the service’s News add-on package along with a number of international offerings. The addition means that in addition to CNN viewers now have two 24 hour news options available.
Bloomberg news has apparently seen the writing on the wall for a long time. It has offered a news feed through it’s website for years and recently launched an official Roku channel to deliver its content through that platform. Sling TV joins Pluto.tv as a service offering Bloomberg as part of a larger collection of options.
Sling has been working to develop a compelling lineup of options for its Best of Live TV package, which along with the option to add HBO for $15.00 more includes access to ESPN 3 and the Watch ESPN app. For a full list of the chanels see below.
