Cable companies love extra fees. Modem charges, local channels, special programming tiers etc. But one of the easiest fees to sell consumers is the monthly charge for an extra cable box. Any time I have signed up for a TV service I am always asked “And How many TV’s do you have”. For people who feel the need to have a cable box in each room as if they run a bed and breakfast the the costs can really add up. While Time Warner Cable offers a very nice app for mobile devices and the Roku family of products the other behemoth in the cable industry Comcast does not. But there is a way to access the Comcast “Cable Everywhere” service on a television. We don’t show this in the video for obvious reasons but in order to use the XFINITY TV Go service you will need your Comcast ID and password as the service is only available for Comcast customers.
